Constituted by State Law No. 6.680, dated September 13, 1967, Saneamento de Goiás S.A. – Saneago aims at providing basic sanitation services in the State of Goiás, through concession and associated management in the constitutional form provided for, performing studies, designing projects, performing works, operating and practicing the operation of basic sanitation services in accordance with the law, considered as a set of services, infrastructure and operational facilities for drinking water supply, sanitary sewer, urban cleaning and solid waste management, as well as drainage and urban stormwater management.
On December 11, 2001, the application for registration as a Publicly-Held Company with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil – CVM was granted for trading in the non-organized over-the-counter market for simple non-convertible shares.
